Leonard Curtis strengthens property and construction team
Professional services firm Leonard Curtis has appointed four senior specialists to its property and construction advisory team as it continues to expand its offering in the sector.
Joining the business are Bill Bordill as director, Allan Murt and Matt Jackson as associates, and Steve Woolnough as senior consultant, with all four arriving from DeSimone, formerly Decipher Consulting.
The appointments strengthen Leonard Curtis’ expertise in construction risk management, dispute resolution and quantity surveying across major projects and developments.
Bill said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Leonard Curtis, with a highly experienced, cohesive team to deliver quality, commercially focused outcomes for clients in the property and construction sector.
“We will be working alongside both Chris Duffill and Peter Vinden, continuing working relationships spanning decades.”
The new hires bring extensive experience spanning expert witness work, adjudication, mediation, infrastructure disputes and high-value commercial and residential developments.
Chris Duffill, director at Leonard Curtis, added: “We are pleased to welcome Bill, Steve, Matt and Allan to the property and construction advisory team.
“Our pool of construction industry experts continues to grow, further strengthening our offering in the sector.
“We have a number of highly respected advisors in this space, and we plan to welcome more skilled specialists in the coming months.”
Chief executive Dan Booth added: “We are making significant investments this year in the talent required to scale up our capabilities in property and construction.
“The priority is to recruit professionals with the right knowledge, experience and credibility in the sector - which as we know faces more challenges than most.
“This will ensure that Leonard Curtis can add the maximum value at critical times to business owners, corporates and their advisers and steadily increase our share of the property and construction advisory market.
“It is our ambition to be the adviser of choice in the sector.”
