IMA promotes global marketing director

Leeds-headquartered full-service marketing agency IMA has promoted Emily Crabtree to the newly created role of global marketing director.

Part of the Smollan Group, IMA said the appointment will support international growth, market expansion and brand development across its global network.

Emily, who has been with the agency for seven years, previously served as director of growth, overseeing expansion through new business wins and organic client growth.

Based at the agency’s Leeds headquarters, she will lead IMA’s global marketing strategy while supporting rebrands and international collaboration across the wider Smollan Group.

Emily said: “IMA has long been one of the industry’s best kept secrets, and I’m excited to take the brand onto the global stage. 

“There is a real opportunity to better showcase our expertise and personality to clients, the wider market and the Smollan Group.

“Agencies are often not great at their own marketing, and I’m passionate about changing that by treating ourselves like a client and showing what we can do on a global stage.”
