Funding supports law firm’s expansion plans
A Cheshire legal firm is expanding its services and creating dozens of jobs following a multi-million-pound investment in new premises and hospitality facilities.
Hunter Lawyers has secured a £695,000 funding package from NatWest as part of a wider £2.5 million expansion project.
The investment will support the launch of a new private members’ club in Cheshire later this year, designed to offer clients dedicated spaces to meet legal and financial advisers.
The development will include a Michelin-star restaurant, luxury accommodation, lounges, tailoring services and chauffeur facilities for up to 300 members.
Bosses at Hunter Lawyers, which provides legal services across areas including employment, commercial and family law, said the expansion will help broaden its client offering and attract visitors from across the UK and overseas.
They add the project is expected to create 45 jobs across hospitality, legal, concierge and support roles, while increasing demand for local suppliers and businesses in the surrounding area.
Lucas Hunter, director at Hunter Lawyers, said: “The NatWest funding has enabled us to invest in a space that will help us grow our team, expand our services, and create a private members’ club where clients can meet legal and accounting advisers in a professional, welcoming environment.
“I’ve been a loyal NatWest customer for 15 years and have always been impressed by the clear communication, face-to-face support, and advice, particularly during this funding process.”
Jane Witter, relationship manager at NatWest, added: “Hunter Lawyers is a well-established local business with a strong reputation.
“Lucas has clear ambitions for growth too.
“We’re pleased to support the firm’s next phase of expansion through our funding, enabling the team to expand their premises and enhance the services they can offer clients.”
