Knights appoints dispute resolution partner
National legal and professional services firm Knights has strengthened its Beaconsfield dispute resolution team with the appointment of Matthew Whipp as partner.
Matthew specialises in litigation and private wealth disputes, including contentious trust and probate matters, inheritance claims and estate administration disputes.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 2017, he has built experience across both City and regional law firms, advising a broad range of clients from private individuals and SMEs to PLCs on complex and high-value disputes, including cases with cross-border elements.
Matthew said: “It’s an extremely exciting time to have joined Knights, who are the standout regional professional services firm nationally.
“The firm’s unique one team approach and national scale, combined with its strong local presence across the Thames Valley region, provides a brilliant platform to deliver excellent service for clients.
“I am already seeing the benefit of working as part of such a talented team.”
Matthew’s appointment further strengthens Knights’ growing dispute resolution offering as the business continues to invest in specialist expertise to meet increasing demand across the private wealth sector.
Michael Kashis, client services director at Knights, added: “Matthew is a talented dispute resolution specialist, has a great reputation locally and is a brilliant addition to the team here in Beaconsfield, which is fantastic for our clients and colleagues as we strive to deliver the very best legal advice.
“This is a really exciting time to be joining the business as we look towards further growth, not just in the South East but nationwide.
“Matthew has really hit the ground running and we’re excited to be welcoming yet more top professionals to our teams across the country in the weeks and months to come.”
