Pump Action appoints sales director
Pump and engineering solutions provider Pump Action, headquartered in Edinburgh, has appointed David McIntosh as sales director as the business continues its expansion across the UK.
David brings more than 15 years’ experience within the pump industry and will lead the company’s sales strategy, client relationships and wider commercial growth activity.
He said: “Having previously worked with Pump Action, I’m delighted to be returning to the business at such an exciting time.
“The company has built an excellent reputation within the industry for both its technical expertise and customer service, and I’m proud to be part of the team once again.
“With the recent expansions and ambitious plans for continued growth, I’m looking forward to working closely with our customers and colleagues to strengthen relationships, support new opportunities, and help drive the business forward across various sectors throughout the UK.”
David’s appointment follows Pump Action’s recent expansion in the North of England, including the opening of its Manchester depot, strengthening the company’s nationwide presence.
Specialising in the sale, repair, servicing and installation of pumps and associated engineering products, Pump Action supports a wide range of commercial and industrial sectors through its network of branches and 24/7 emergency response service.
Scott Lamont, director, added: “It’s fantastic to have David back at Pump Action, his leadership, vision, and energy have been greatly missed, we are excited to be starting a new chapter together.”
