Healthcare specialist appointed to AISMA board
Accountancy and business advisory firm Duncan & Toplis has announced the appointment of Kay Botley to the board of the Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA).
Kay, who is business services director and head of healthcare at Duncan & Toplis, officially joined the AISMA board earlier this month.
Having joined Duncan & Toplis in 2001, she has built extensive experience supporting GP practices and healthcare organisations across the Midlands, East Anglia and beyond, advising on financial planning, tax and practice performance.
She also plays a leading role in producing the firm’s annual healthcare benchmarking report, helping practices compare financial and operational performance nationally and regionally.
Kay said: “I’m delighted to join the AISMA board and contribute to an organisation that plays an important role in supporting specialist medical accountants across the UK.
“Healthcare providers continue to face significant financial and operational pressures, and having access to specialist advice has never been more important.
“I’m looking forward to sharing insights, working alongside fellow board members and continuing to support our clients as the sector evolves.”
Damon Brain, chief executive of Duncan & Toplis, added: “Kay’s appointment is a reflection of the expertise she has built over many years and the trusted relationships she has developed across the healthcare sector.
“She plays an important role within Duncan & Toplis, and this appointment further strengthens our healthcare offering.
“It also reinforces our commitment to investing in sector expertise that delivers real value to clients.”
