LCF Law eyes growth following recognition
A Yorkshire law firm is accelerating its expansion plans after earning national recognition for workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
LCF Law has secured a place in this year’s The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list in the medium-sized business category, marking the second time the firm has featured in the rankings.
The recognition comes during a sustained period of growth for the regional practice, which has recruited 22 new employees since the beginning of the year and recently introduced a new strategic vision designed to support further expansion.
LCF, which now employs more than 145 people across offices in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and Ilkley, achieved an overall employee satisfaction score of 86 per cent in anonymous staff surveys carried out by workplace consultancy WorkL.
Scores across all categories were ranked as “excellent”, with the strongest performance recorded in job satisfaction and wellbeing.
Employees also responded positively to areas including communication, empowerment and recognition.
Ragan Montgomery, LCF Law’s managing partner, said: “The listing represents an important endorsement of our people-first culture during a significant period of growth and transition.
“To be recognised again by The Sunday Times Best Places to Work is something we are incredibly proud of, because it reflects the views of our team and reinforces that we don’t just say these things – we mean them.
“These results show that our teams feel supported, empowered and genuinely connected to the business.
“As we continue to grow, protecting the culture that has always defined LCF Law remains hugely important to us.
“We want to be ambitious, but we also want to grow sustainably and in line with our values.”
Ragan adds that the firm has introduced a new purpose and values framework, which will help shape the firm’s future growth, recruitment plans and approach to client service.
She added: “Our refreshed purpose, vision and values capture what has always been true about LCF Law – we genuinely care about people, we find better ways forward and we do what we say we’ll do.
“These principles keep us grounded in what matters most – looking after each other, supporting our clients and growing with intention rather than just ambition.
“We are not reinventing ourselves, but we are being clearer about who we are.
“This ensures that LCF Law remains well positioned for sustainable growth as we continue to recruit and make senior hires across our corporate, commercial disputes, insolvency and real estate teams.”
Alongside its commercial growth, LCF Law has also continued its environmental initiatives, including supporting tree planting projects with the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust.
