Darts' Nathan Aspinall targets the future
Darts star Nathan Aspinall puts his reputation on the line in Manchester this month at an exclusive event further underlining the sport’s explosive popularity.
The two-time world championship semi-finalist will meet industry insiders to talk the future of interactive pub entertainment.
And ‘The Asp’ will invite representatives from the hospitality sector to road test the latest Target Darts Zone updates and gain an insight into how interactive darts is driving increased footfall, diverse revenue streams and new audiences.
Hosted by sector-leading pub and hospitality trade suppliers The Rudd Group, the Target Darts Zone North West Showcase reflects a growing demand for experiential social gaming.
Rachael Reynolds, Head of Darts at The Rudd Group, said: “Interactive darts is proving to be one of the most exciting developments in pub entertainment.
“Seeing it live gives venue operators real confidence in how it can work commercially within their businesses.
“Events like this are incredibly valuable because operators get the opportunity to experience the technology exactly as their customers would.”
On June 8 invited operators, pub companies, brewery representatives and licensed trade professionals will have the opportunity to experience one of the fastest-growing entertainment concepts in hospitality.
And world number 15 Aspinall will be on hand to put the updated Target Darts Zone technology through its paces as the Stockport-born star takes his sport back to the future.
Helena Rudd, Marketing Director at the family-run Rudd Group, added: “Operators understandably want to test entertainment products before making investment decisions.
“A live showcase environment gives them the opportunity to ask questions, see the equipment performing under real conditions and understand how it fits within their own venue strategy.
“Working alongside world-class players like Nathan adds a huge level of credibility and excitement.
“It demonstrates the strength of the product but it also creates a memorable experience for attendees that reflects exactly what customers are now looking for in pubs and bars — interactive, social entertainment that keeps people coming back.”
The showcase reflects The Rudd Group’s continued focus on innovation-led entertainment solutions for the licensed trade, helping venues diversify revenue streams and create more memorable customer experiences.
Helena and her team insist experiential showcase events are becoming increasingly important as hospitality businesses look to make more informed purchasing decisions in a competitive market.
The event also reinforces the growing role trusted suppliers play in supporting long-term venue success.
Beyond supplying equipment, The Rudd Group continues to work closely with operators to provide tailored recommendations, ongoing support and dependable UK-wide service designed specifically for the licensed trade.
Nick Rudd, Managing Director, added: “The licensed trade is constantly evolving and venues that invest in engaging experiences are seeing the benefits through increased customer retention, stronger footfall, and improved spend per visit.
“Our role is to help operators identify solutions that genuinely work commercially while providing the support and expertise they need long after installation.”
