Industrial services firm expands with takeover
A global industrial services firm has expanded with a takeover.
OEG has bought Hybrid Resource Management.
Bosses say the move for the onshore and offshore wind workforce provider will “strengthen its technical services capability and expand its global presence”.
The deal has added more than 80 staff to OEG, which oversees UK operations from an Aberdeen head office and provides infrastructure support to the energy, aviation and marine sectors.
Under the terms of the agreement, Newquay-headquartered Hybrid will retain its existing brand in the near term, with directors Stephen Potter and Morwenna Richards continuing to lead the business.
Billy Hamilton, OEG topside director, said: “Hybrid has built a strong reputation across onshore and offshore wind.
“This acquisition enhances our technical capacity and creates a larger pool of specialist personnel to support growing customer demand.”
Morwenna Richards, Hybrid director, added: “This marks a significant milestone in our journey.
“This union represents a wonderful opportunity to join an organisation that shares our core values and vision.”
