Agencies aim for take-off after landing airport brief

Two Birmingham-based independent agencies have joined forces to deliver a European digital campaign for an airport transfer brand.

One Black Bear is working with SHC Digital after the pair secured a significant brief from Flibco, which operates airport shuttle services across Europe.

The partnership will deliver a paid social, display and digital campaign designed to build brand awareness and drive bookings for Flibco’s premier airport shuttle service in markets including Belgium, France and Italy.

The agencies combined creative and technical expertise to develop the pitch-winning ideas, which have now moved into production. 

Teams have already travelled to Belgium for an intensive on-location shoot as part of the campaign’s development.

Lucy Bennett, account director at One Black Bear, said: “Flibco approached One Black Bear with a brief spanning social and display advertising.

“Recognising the need for high-impact, native social content, we decided to partner with our friends at SHC Digital, leveraging their extensive experience and proven track record in this space.”

She added: “The pitch was extremely competitive against many international agencies, which just goes to show how much talent and creativity we have in Birmingham.

“Flibco is an ambitious European brand with a clear role in making airport travel simpler and more affordable.

“Our focus will be on creating work that feels sharp, relevant and effective across several different markets, without losing the simplicity of the message.”

The relationship has since expanded, with Flibco awarding the partnership a second brief for its Door2Gate transfer service.

Both projects will require the agencies to navigate different languages, markets and cultural expectations, ensuring campaign messaging remains relevant and effective for local audiences across Europe.
