Asset Advantage expands South East team
Basingstoke-based business finance provider Asset Advantage has appointed Steven O’Reilly as area sales manager as it continues to grow its specialist lending team across the South East.
Steven brings extensive experience in asset finance and SME lending, having spent ten years with Paragon Bank as a business development manager.
He joins from CC Springador Finance, where he was a director specialising in asset finance, commercial loans and funding solutions for the construction, agriculture and vehicle sectors.
In his new role, Steven will support small and medium-sized businesses in accessing finance, including asset finance and business loans, while helping to strengthen Asset Advantage’s presence across the region.
He said: “Joining Asset Advantage felt like a natural fit for me.
“Having grown up in Basingstoke, I’m passionate about supporting local SMEs and helping business owners access the funding they need to achieve their ambitions.
“It’s clear that Asset Advantage understands what SMEs want and need from business funding and have the flexible, open-minded approach to suit.”
Steven’s appointment forms part of a wider investment programme that has seen the company expand its specialist lending team, enhance its product offering and introduce new systems and processes to improve support for growing businesses.
Gary Thompson, sales director at Asset Advantage, added: “I'm delighted to welcome Steven O'Reilly to our sales team.
“Steven comes to us with many years of experience in the asset finance sector and will work with William Thompson as we expand our offering to local businesses, supporting SMEs in their growth ambitions.
“As Asset Advantage continues to grow Steven will be an integral part of the business community in Basingstoke, Hampshire and across the South East region.
“I know he will represent the Asset Advantages values as he does so.”
