Fusion 360 invests in specialist design team

Electrical and solar contractor Fusion 360 has strengthened its service offering with the launch of a specialist in-house design team focused on electrical and renewable energy projects across the UK.

The enhanced service will provide clients with bespoke electrical system and solar PV designs, including wiring layouts, cable distribution, lighting schemes, technical specifications and supporting documentation.

The team will be led by project designer Liam Prendergast, who joined the business in 2021 and has progressed internally from his previous role as an electrical improver.

Working closely with Fusion 360’s installation and project delivery teams, the new design function aims to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions tailored to real site conditions.

Liam said: “With five years at Fusion 360, I’ve worked on and managed countless electrical installations. 

“Moving from site into the office in my new role as Project Designer, I look forward to putting my system design skills to work across a range of exciting projects.”

The investment follows the company’s recent rebrand from Fusion Electrics to Fusion 360, reflecting its growth across electrical, solar, design and mechanical services.

Established in 1997, Fusion 360 delivers electrical and energy systems for commercial and domestic customers across sectors including healthcare, education, retail, industrial and custodial facilities.
