Digital agency set to power OneGym's growth

A Darlington digital marketing agency has secured a contract to support the continued expansion of one of the North East’s fastest-growing fitness brands.

Myk Baxter Marketing (MBM) has been appointed to redesign and develop a new website for OneGym following a year-long partnership focused on search engine optimisation.

The project will provide OneGym with a new digital platform designed to support its next phase of growth across the region.

Founded by Darlington entrepreneur Myk Baxter, the agency has spent more than 16 years helping businesses improve their online presence through website development and digital marketing. 

Alongside OneGym, it has worked with brands including Tomahawk Steakhouse, Rio Brazilian Steakhouse, Babuls and Skins & Needles.

OneGym has grown from a single site into one of the North East’s largest privately owned fitness operators, with locations across County Durham, Teesside, Sunderland and Newcastle.

Myk says the new website will focus on improving user experience, website speed, mobile functionality, membership journeys and location-specific content, while strengthening the brand’s visibility in search results.

The appointment comes as OneGym continues to expand its footprint, with a new gym opening in Wynyard next month and a further launch planned at Sunderland Doxford Park.
