RWO appoints technical director

North East engineering consultancy RWO has appointed Domenico Venuti as technical director as the business continues its national expansion and growing project pipeline.

Based at the company's headquarters in Seaton Burn, Domenico will lead the commercial civils team and support the development of RWO’s technical strategy. 

His responsibilities will include team development, growing the civils division and providing engineering leadership across complex design projects.

Domenico joins the business with more than 30 years of consultancy experience spanning the UK, Europe, Canada, the Middle East and South Africa. 

His background includes work on major data centre, infrastructure, logistics, sports and residential developments.

Reporting to group director Reece Kesson, Domenico will work closely with the leadership team to support the company’s long-term growth plans.

He said: “I’ve worked across a wide range of complex infrastructure and development projects throughout my career, delivering solutions in a variety of international markets. 

“RWO’s collaborative culture, ambitious plans and growing multi-disciplinary capability made it an exciting opportunity for me. I’m looking forward to supporting the team’s continued development, sharing knowledge and contributing to the delivery of high-profile projects across multiple sectors.”

Domenico’s appointment comes as RWO continues to invest in its operations across offices in Newcastle, Leeds, London, Bristol and Stokesley, with annual turnover now exceeding £5 million.
