Lodders appoints head of family law

Midlands and South West law firm Lodders has appointed family law specialist Mark Hands as head of its family team and welcomed him as an equity partner.

Mark joins from a Top 50 UK law firm and brings extensive experience advising clients on complex family law matters. 

Recognised as a Band 1 lawyer by Chambers & Partners and a Leading Partner by The Legal 500, he is also one of only four family lawyers in the Midlands ranked as pre-eminent by the Doyles Guide.

His expertise spans high-net-worth divorce, wealth protection, nuptial agreements, children matters and complex financial disputes. 

He has also developed a specialist practice advising families from Sikh and Islamic communities and is well known for acting for professionals, sportspeople and footballers.

Mark will lead the firm’s family team as it continues to support clients across the Midlands and South West with a broad range of family and relationship matters.

Mark’s appointment increases Lodders’ equity partner count to nine and forms part of the firm's continued investment in its family law offering.
