Thomson Snell & Passmore appoints head of real estate

Kent law firm Thomson Snell & Passmore has appointed Sarah Easton as head of real estate as it continues to invest in the growth of one of the region’s largest property teams.

Sarah, who has been with the Royal Tunbridge Wells-based firm since 2010, is an experienced development lawyer and currently leads its land and development team. 

She succeeds to the leadership role while continuing to work closely with colleagues across the firm's real estate practice.

In her new position, Sarah will work alongside Kate Turnham, who co-leads the land and development team, Joanne Wright, head of commercial real estate, and Matthew Grogan and Laura Keatley, who lead the real estate finance team.

She said: “I am delighted to take on the role of head of real estate at Thomson Snell & Passmore and to lead such a talented and experienced team. 

“We have already started to implement the next phase of the department’s growth. 

“We have excellent lawyers across the department, working hard to support ambitious clients.

“I look forward to shaping the next phase of the team’s development and to what we can achieve together in the years ahead.”

Sarah’s appointment comes as Thomson Snell & Passmore continues to expand its real estate offering, which includes specialist expertise across planning, construction, disputes and property finance, supported by wider corporate, litigation, employment and private wealth teams.

Founded in 1570, the firm is one of the UK’s oldest law practices and continues to advise businesses, developers and investors across the South East.
