Bradley Hall completes Gosforth land sale

A national property firm has completed the sale of a development site earmarked for new housing in Newcastle.

Newcastle-headquartered Bradley Hall has supported the sale of a 3.7-acre parcel of land on Sandy Lane in North Gosforth to regional housebuilder Northumbria Homes.

The site benefits from planning permission for four executive homes and was sold by Bradley Hall associate director Callum Armstrong.

Located less than a mile from the A1 and three miles from the A19, the development site offers strong transport links to Newcastle city centre and surrounding areas.

Callum said: “It was a pleasure to support our clients to sell 3.7 acres of development land in North Gosforth to Northumbria Homes.

“This is a very popular area, with a number of new housing developments, independent businesses and national supermarkets taking space on and around Sandy Lane.

“Gosforth is a bustling suburb within a prime location north of Newcastle, and the site will create a number of new homes for residents in the local area.”

Holly Hodgson, managing director of Northumbria Homes, added: “This acquisition continues our growth across the North East.

“Northumbria Homes works with Signal Construction and prides itself on creating high quality residential developments, our most recent scheme of three and four-bedroom family homes in Murton Village is currently nearing completion with the last units remaining available.

“We are delighted to make School House Court, as the scheme will be named, our next exclusive development.

“It will see us create something that is arguably not available elsewhere in Gosforth and provide unique homes that enjoy all the benefits the vibrant neighbourhood holds. Watch this space!”
