Partnership aims to fuel Hydrogen projects
An Aberdeen-headquartered engineering services company has formed a new partnership aimed at accelerating the delivery of hydrogen infrastructure projects across the UK.
THREE60 Energy has signed a memorandum of understanding with hydrogen systems specialist Logan to develop integrated, turnkey hydrogen solutions.
The collaboration combines THREE60 Energy’s engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning expertise with Logan’s capabilities in hydrogen production, storage, compression, refuelling and dispensing systems.
Together, the companies will pursue opportunities across hydrogen production facilities, tube-trailer filling systems and hydrogen refuelling stations, offering clients a single route from project design through to delivery and ongoing support.
Bosses say the partnership aims to address a gap in the market by combining specialist hydrogen knowledge with large-scale engineering and project delivery expertise, helping improve efficiency, cost certainty and project execution as demand for hydrogen infrastructure continues to grow.
Alasdair Smith, managing director of EPCC at THREE60 Energy, said: “This partnership combines Logan’s hydrogen track record with our engineering and project-delivery capability, giving clients a single, accountable team to take hydrogen projects from concept through to commissioning safely, efficiently and with cost certainty.”
Craig Stewart, business development director of Logan, added: “The hydrogen market is moving rapidly from concept to delivery, and clients are increasingly looking for partners who can provide both technical depth and proven project execution.
“By working with THREE60 Energy, we are bridging that gap - bringing together specialist hydrogen expertise with large-scale engineering and delivery capability to unlock more complex, real-world projects.”
