Engineering surveying firm eyes growth with new HQ

An engineering surveying business has relocated its head office to the West Midlands as it looks to support its next phase of growth.

Survey Solutions has moved its headquarters from Ipswich to Trinity Park in Solihull, close to Birmingham International train station and airport.

Bosses say the relocation provides the company with a more central base to strengthen collaboration between teams while supporting its expanding customer base, which includes major contractors, developers, engineering consultants and specialist rail, heritage and utilities firms.

The open-plan office has been designed to bring head office, surveying and operational teams together, helping to improve communication, innovation and customer service.

David Lowe, chief executive of Survey Solutions, said: “Moving our head office to Birmingham delivers a range of benefits for the company, our people and our clients.

“The centralised nature of the location allows us to target growth right across the UK and be more agile in terms of the regions we’re looking to expand in, while it also helps us foster a more connected, community-oriented environment internally.

“Ultimately, these factors will help us deliver even better results for our clients.”

The move follows a series of strategic investments by Survey Solutions, including new offices in Milton Keynes and the Thames Valley, alongside a larger premises in Glasgow to support its continued growth in Scotland.

Survey Solutions employs more than 250 people across 16 offices nationwide and provides services including land, underground, drone and hydrographic surveys, as well as measured building surveys, monitoring and site engineering.
