FDC backs private equity buy-out at agency

A London-headquartered influencer marketing agency is set to accelerate its international expansion after securing private equity backing supported by a seven-figure funding package.

House of Marketers has completed a private equity buy-out backed by a seven-figure loan from Frontier Development Capital (FDC) and investment from Ethos Partners.

Founded in 2020 by former TikTok employee Inigo Rivero and marketing entrepreneur Rohan Midha, House of Marketers delivers creator-led campaigns across platforms including TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

The agency works with more than 100 brands each year through a global network of over 250,000 influencers.

Over the past three years, House of Marketers has increased revenue by more than 50 per cent annually to almost eight figures, with more than 95 per cent of revenue generated outside the UK, including 65 per cent from Asia.

Bosses say the funding will support the agency’s next phase of growth, with plans to expand internationally while investing in technology, data capabilities and new service lines.

Inigo, chief executive of House of Marketers, said: “We are excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue to expand internationally and enhance our offering to clients.”

FDC provided the funding through its Evolution fund.

Charlie Robinson, of FDC, added: “House of Marketers helps brands navigate an increasingly fragmented digital landscape and has quickly established itself as a leader in its field.

“We are pleased to be supporting Ethos Partners and House of Marketers with the ninth investment in just over a year from our innovative Evolution fund.”

Jack Jacovou, partner at Ethos, added: “House of Marketers has built an outstanding reputation in one of the fastest-growing segments of the marketing services market.

“We have been highly impressed by the quality of the management team, the strength of the client relationships and the business’ track record of growth.

“We look forward to partnering with FDC as Inigo and the wider team continue to scale internationally and build on their market position.”
