NSMP appoints new board chair
North Sea Midstream Partners (NSMP) has appointed Marcus Richards as board chair, succeeding Paul Warwick following seven years in the role.
Marcus brings extensive experience across the upstream and midstream energy sectors.
He previously served as chief executive of Dana Petroleum, senior vice president at BP and, most recently, executive adviser in the energy practice at Boston Consulting Group.
During his career at BP, Marcus oversaw offshore operations and major projects in the UK, Norway and the US, as well as UK midstream infrastructure including the Forties Pipeline System.
He also brings significant board-level experience, having served as chair and non-executive director for businesses operating across the oil and gas, finance and emerging AI technology sectors.
Angela Fletcher, chief executive at NSMP, said: “The shareholders, board and staff of NSMP would like to thank Paul Warwick for his consistent, insightful and thoughtful leadership across our company.
“His focus on safe operations and board governance has made NSMP a stronger and more effective organisation.
“We welcome Marcus Richards to our board and to the chair role as we continue to strengthen and develop NSMP.
“Marcus’ experience as an upstream and midstream leader and executive advisor on business improvement will fit well into our culture as we continue to support the oil and gas industry.”
