IT support firm gallops on with racecourse work
An IT services firm has strengthened its order book with a sporting venue deal.
IT Covered is supporting York Racecourse.
The agreement covers IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity systems and training.
The company, based in Dunnington, on the outskirts of York, is also providing advice on artificial intelligence strategy.
Ross Marshall, IT Covered director, said: “We are very happy to be working with York Racecourse.
“We have made a great start on building and implementing a 12-month IT strategy that will support the team, enable them to replace ageing equipment cost effectively and stay on top of their Cyber Essentials.
“I’m looking forward to seeing our partnership develop.”
Chris Ward, York Racecourse head of finance, added: “From the first time I sat down with Ross, I have been impressed by his knowledge, skills and drive to deliver exceptional service.
“His team is proactive, responsive and straightforward.
“We now have a comprehensive plan that is helping the business manage costs and keep our systems running smoothly.”
