IFS extends Club Doncaster partnership
A South Yorkshire insurance broker is celebrating more than a decade of supporting one of the region’s leading sports organisations through a long-standing commercial partnership.
IFS Risk Solutions has reaffirmed its relationship with Club Doncaster as an official 100Club Platinum Partner, continuing a collaboration that spans sponsorship, insurance and risk management services.
The partnership began with Doncaster Dons Rugby League Football Club and has since expanded to include a long-standing back-of-shirt sponsorship for the Dons, alongside Platinum Digital Media Partner status and sponsorship of Doncaster Rovers’ matchday goal graphics.
Beyond its sponsorship activities, IFS Risk Solutions, which provides tailored advice and specialist insurance solutions to businesses across the UK, has served as Club Doncaster’s insurance provider for many years, delivering specialist insurance and risk management support across the organisation.
Paul Bloor, founder and managing director of IFS Risk Solutions, said: “Supporting our local professional rugby and football club is extremely important to us all and sits well alongside our commitment to local grassroots teams and Mental Health FC.
“Over the years, we have made every effort to attend all fixtures through rugby and football seasons, irrespective of what league standing each team had.
“Our branded executive box has always been a welcoming place to invite family and friends or extend hospitality to our clients and suppliers over several seasons.
“As Club Doncaster’s insurance provider, we have never taken the trust placed in us lightly.
“We see our role as far more than simply arranging insurance policies; we are a long-term partner to the organisation, providing guidance, support and risk management expertise whenever it is needed.
“We also appreciate the club recommending IFS Risk Solutions to several 100Club members and business connections, based upon our outstanding levels of service and professionalism.
“We consistently strive to go above and beyond the traditional insurance company and client relationship in our partnership with Club Doncaster.”
Gavin Baldwin, chief executive of Doncaster Rovers, added: “IFS Risk Solutions are so much more than an insurance provider; they have become a friend of the club, provide advice and guidance beyond any reasonable expectations when sourcing insurance and then on an ongoing basis once the policies are in place.
“They also act as advocates of the club in the business communities, and perhaps most importantly, they are good people, and you can feel how much they want the club and the people in it to do well.
“We are proud to have them as our insurance provider and recommend them to other businesses knowing we are making the best possible referral.”
Laura Hemstock, head of sales at Club Doncaster, added: “IFS Risk Solutions have been an outstanding partner of Club Doncaster for more than ten years, not only through their sponsorship support but also as our trusted insurance provider.
“Their expertise, professionalism and commitment to delivering exceptional service have made them an important part of our wider business network.
“Their commitment goes far beyond sponsorship, with Paul and the wider IFS team consistently supporting the clubs, our business community and local initiatives throughout the region.
“We are proud to work alongside a company that shares our values and passion for supporting local sport and community engagement.”
