Blacks expands real estate litigation team

Leeds-based law firm Blacks Solicitors LLP has strengthened its real estate litigation team with the appointment of Chloe Ward and Jess Bowen.

Chloe joins as associate solicitor from Squire Patton Boggs, bringing four years’ experience advising telecommunications operators, while newly qualified solicitor Jess Bowen joins from Eversheds to support clients across telecommunications, asset management and landlord and tenant matters.

Chloe said: “Joining the real estate litigation team at Blacks is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing practice and work on high-value, complex telecommunications matters.

Their appointments increase the team’s headcount to seven and follow a period of sustained growth, with turnover rising by more than 61 per cent over the past year alongside increasing demand for its specialist real estate litigation services.

Blacks’ real estate litigation team advises landlords, developers, investors, occupiers and landowners on a broad range of complex property disputes across the UK.
