QE Facilities appoints non-executive director

QE Facilities, a wholly owned subsidiary of Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust (GHFT), has appointed Simon Jefferson as non-executive director, strengthening its board with additional commercial and governance expertise.

Simon brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience across the water, environmental services and infrastructure sectors.

His career has included roles with Ramboll, Adler and Allan, Catsurveys and Panton McLeod, following 15 years at Northumbrian Water. 

He has also served as a non-executive director at St Cuthbert's Hospice, supporting the organisation's long-term development and sustainability.

QE Facilities provides estates and facilities services to NHS trusts and other organisations across Gateshead, Yorkshire, Scotland and Coventry. 

Simon’s appointment reflects the organisation’s continued focus on quality, assurance and strong governance as it grows.
