Financial services firm nets Ipswich Town agreement
A financial services firm has scored a Premier League football deal.
Ebury has signed as Ipswich Town’s official foreign exchange partner.
The business says the “multi-year agreement” will see it help the Suffolk club “manage cross-border transactions as it grows on and off the pitch”.
The deal will also see Ebury’s branding used at home fixtures and the company’s name used on future first-team men’s and women’s player signings.
Peter Brooks, co-global head of sport at Ebury, whose office network includes bases in London, Birmingham and High Wycombe, said: “As the club continues to grow, managing international payments efficiently will be increasingly important.
“We look forward to building a long-term partnership.”
Abu Salk, Ipswich Town finance director, added: “Ebury’s expertise in international financial solutions will provide valuable support, and we’re excited to see the opportunities this partnership will create.”
