Gordons expands construction team
Leeds-headquartered law firm Gordons has strengthened its construction practice with the appointment of lawyer Ian Sadler.
Ian joins the firm to advise clients on all aspects of non-contentious construction law, supporting the successful delivery of projects across the construction and engineering sectors.
He qualified 14 years ago and has worked in both Leeds and London, advising a broad range of businesses on construction and engineering matters.
Ian said: “Gordons has an excellent reputation in the construction practice and a diverse client base that spans some genuinely interesting work.
“The firm is known for developing strong client relationships whilst providing practical commercial advice.
“This approach reflects the way I operate, and I am excited by the opportunity to help grow the practice area alongside a highly capable team of specialists.”
Ian’s appointment further expands Gordons’ specialist construction offering, which supports clients across a variety of industries.
Employing around 180 people, Gordons acts for a range of national businesses, including United Living Group, Wren Kitchens and Warburtons, alongside retailers AO, Iceland Foods and Morrisons, drinks company Molson Coors and parcel delivery business Evri.
Gordons’ construction partner Mark Smith added: “Ian strengthens our non-contentious offer at a time when clients are increasingly seeking that type of expertise.
“His diverse range of experience, technical excellence and approachable way of advising means Ian is ideally placed to further enhance the service we provide clients.”
