Pulse Finance appoints head of sales
Specialist invoice and trade finance provider Pulse Finance has appointed Matt Speed as head of sales.
Matt joins the business with almost 30 years’ experience in financial services, having held leadership roles across invoice finance, trade finance, asset finance and private investment funds.
In his new position, he will lead Pulse Finance’s sales and business development activities, supporting SMEs in accessing working capital to fund growth and manage cash flow.
He brings experience from both major banking institutions and independent funders, with a track record of helping businesses secure tailored funding solutions across a range of sectors.
Matt said: “I am delighted to be joining Pulse Finance at such an exciting stage in the company’s growth.
“Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping businesses access the funding they need to achieve their objectives, and I look forward to working closely with business owners, introducers and professional advisers across the UK.
“SMEs are facing significant challenges in today’s market, but there are also tremendous opportunities for businesses that have the right funding support behind them.
“Pulse Finance has built an excellent reputation for delivering practical, flexible funding solutions, and I am excited to help more businesses secure the finance they need to grow and succeed.”
Matt’s appointment comes as Pulse Finance continues to expand its presence in the UK funding market.
The lender, which provides invoice and trade finance facilities of between £200,000 and £5 million, said the investment in its senior team will help meet growing demand from SMEs seeking alternative finance solutions.
Martin Bennison, sales and marketing director at Pulse Finance, added: “We are delighted to welcome Matt to Pulse Finance.
“His breadth of experience across the broader commercial funding markets is exceptional.
“Matt has spent many years helping businesses overcome funding challenges and build long-term growth, and his expertise, leadership and market knowledge will be invaluable to both our clients and our team.
“As head of sales, Matt will play a key role in shaping our future growth strategy, strengthening relationships with introducers and advisers, and ensuring we continue to provide outstanding funding solutions to UK SMEs.
“We are confident he will make a significant contribution to the continued success of Pulse Finance.”
