Bedding maker gallops on with equestrian agreement

A family-run equestrian bedding maker is jumping for joy after extending a national governing body deal.

UNIBED has secured a three-year agreement with British Showjumping.

The contract builds on a three-year alliance with the operator, which saw UNIBED provide goods to its Leicestershire-based national training centre.

It also comes as the business, based in South Milford, near Selby, celebrates the UNIBED Winter Grades B&C Championship Final at the Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead Showground.

Headquartered in the West Midlands, British Showjumping oversees elite competition across events including the Olympic Games and European Championships.

Jessica Vickers, commercial and operations director at UNIBED, whose products include miscanthus, oilseed rape and wheat straw, said: “This is a partnership we hold with great regard.

“British Showjumping is built on a fantastic community of members, who are extremely dedicated to the welfare of their horses.”

A British Showjumping spokesperson added: “UNIBED is renowned for its dedication to optimising horses’ health and wellbeing.

“This partnership allows us to showcase UNIBED’s high-performance equine bedding and highlight our shared commitment to sustainability.”
