Falcon Fox appoints project manager
Property developer Falcon Fox Developments has appointed Alfred Lane as project manager for its Vaux Housing Development in Sunderland city centre.
Alfred, who is from Washington, brings 40 years’ experience in the construction industry, including as a senior project manager with construction solutions partner Graham.
In his new role, he will oversee the day-to-day delivery of the 93-home development, working alongside site manager Darren Talbot to manage the programme, resources, quality and health and safety.
Alfred said: “I am delighted to work on what is a flagship project for the city of Sunderland.
“We have a strong team in place and I’m looking forward to overseeing the project and marking the many milestones along the journey.”
The Vaux Housing Development is a flagship regeneration scheme at the heart of Sunderland city centre and will deliver 93 sustainable homes.
Alfred’s appointment reflects Falcon Fox Developments’ continued investment in local talent, strengthening the team delivering one of Sunderland’s key city centre regeneration projects.
Falcon Fox director Duncan Bowman added: “We have some important milestones coming up at the Vaux site including the erection of the timber frame which will span 52 new homes.
“Alfred will be a valuable and highly experienced addition to the Falcon Fox team.
“He will help oversee the project, manage sub-contractors and be a key client liaison contact.”
