fulfilmentcrowd appoints operations director
Global fulfilment provider fulfilmentcrowd, headquartered in Chorley, Lancashire, has appointed Neil Midgley as director of operations as the business continues its international growth.
Neil joins from GXO, where he spent 14 years in a series of senior operational roles, bringing 37 years’ experience across logistics, supply chain and manufacturing.
His career has included responsibility for large-scale fulfilment centres, multi-depot transport networks, and UK and European warehousing operations.
In his new role, Neil will lead fulfilmentcrowd’s network partners, sales, onboarding and account management functions, helping to drive operational efficiency and support the company's continued global expansion.
He said: “I am super excited at joining fulfilmentcrowd and have been thoroughly impressed by their ability to provide scalable operations, pretty much instantaneously, anywhere across the globe.
“Their award-winning technology is underpinned by a fantastic team of dedicated professionals who are focused on delivering world-class B2B & D2C fulfilment solutions to customers of all sizes.
“I am looking forward to working with our colleagues and partners to enhance our operational capabilities and performance, so we can continue to delight new and existing customers wherever they are in the world!”
Neil’s appointment reflects fulfilmentcrowd’s continued investment in its leadership team, strengthening its operational capability as the business expands its global fulfilment network following investment from Palatine Private Equity.
Paul Taylor, managing director of fulfilmentcrowd, added: “As fulfilmentcrowd continues to scale its international presence and strategic partnerships with omnichannel brands, Neil’s key priorities will include strengthening operational excellence across the business, optimising processes, enhancing cross-functional collaboration and ensuring the business has the operational capability and resilience to support sustainable growth.”
