OurHouse appoints chief operating officer

London-based family club operator OurHouse has appointed Alicia Thompson as chief operating officer as it prepares for its next phase of growth.

Alicia joins with extensive leadership experience across hospitality, retail and consumer brands.

Most recently director of hospitality at Marks & Spencer, she has also held senior roles with Kick Game, 31 Dover and Diageo, and founded the UK’s first women’s performance road cycling brand, Queen of the Mountains.

In her new role, Alicia will oversee operations, membership and business performance, supporting the continued growth of OurHouse’s network of London family clubs.

Alicia said: “I am thrilled to be joining OurHouse at such a pivotal moment.

“Drawing on my experience of working across multi-site consumer brands, my focus will be on leading a team to build robust processes and systems to deliver expansion that retains the personal touch and family warmth that have made Jaego’s House and Jesse’s House so special.

“It is this rare combination of operational rigour and genuine care for the member that will underpin OurHouse's next phase of growth and success.”

Alicia’s appointment reflects OurHouse’s continued investment in its leadership team, strengthening the business as it expands its multi-site presence across London with three new clubs planned for 2027.

Nick Crosthwaite, chief executive of OurHouse, added: “Alicia joins at an exciting time for the business as we look to scale our portfolio from two clubs to new Houses across London.

“Her expertise in running consumer businesses, where the guest experience has to be right every single day, will be hugely valued, and ensure every new club feels as considered as the first.”
