SBP bolsters senior team with appointment
Accountancy firm SBP Accountants & Business Advisers has appointed Rhys Jones as senior manager, strengthening its business advisory team.
Rhys brings more than 20 years’ experience in the finance sector, joining from Aberdeen-based Hall Morrice where he spent 14 years developing expertise in accounts and business advisory.
His career has also included roles with accountancy firms in North Wales and Edinburgh, supporting a broad portfolio of businesses across a range of sectors.
In his new role, Rhys will support SBP’s growing client base, drawing on his experience in business advisory, accounts and team development to help businesses make informed financial decisions.
He said: “Having followed SBP's journey for some time, and through my conversations with John, I was drawn to the firm's commitment to its people and its ambitious vision for the future.
“As an independently owned accountancy firm, SBP demonstrates a genuine investment in developing its team and recognising their achievements along the way.
“I felt my experience of growing and developing high performing teams was a natural fit, and I’m looking forward to bringing that expertise to SBP and contributing to its continued success.”
Rhys’ appointment reflects SBP Accountants & Business Advisers' continued investment in its senior team, strengthening the firm's expertise as it supports businesses across the north-east of Scotland.
John Hannah, managing partner, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Rhys to the team, his track record and commitment to developing people is a real fit for our culture. Building strong client relationships and leading with integrity makes Rhys an excellent addition to our team.
“At SBP, we’re committed to investing in our people and creating an environment where talented individuals can thrive.
“As we continue to grow, attracting experienced professionals who share our values and vision is key to our success.
“We’re confident that Rhys will play an important role in supporting both our clients and our team as we continue to build on our momentum.”
