Vyne appoints chief clinical officer

Leeds-based digital health company Vyne has appointed Sarah Hillery as chief clinical officer to strengthen its clinical leadership.

Sarah brings more than 25 years’ experience in urological nursing and has held a number of senior leadership positions, including president of the British Association of Urological Nurses (BAUN) and executive board member of the European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN).

She has led clinical strategy, service transformation and governance throughout her career.

In her new role, Sarah will strengthen the clinical expertise underpinning Vyne’s digital platform, which supports clinicians and patients with bladder and bowel care through prescribing, dispensing, shopping and ongoing support.

She said: “I was eager to join a company that shares my commitment to urological nursing and helping the NHS, and Vyne’s values are deeply aligned with my own. 

“Having experienced the challenges of disjointed legacy systems, I know how vital a modern solution is for both clinicians and patients. 

“My focus now is to ensure nurses are empowered, giving them the tools to deliver excellent aftercare and ensuring that no patient is left without support after discharge.”

Sarah’s appointment reflects Vyne’s continued investment in clinical expertise, strengthening the business as it expands its digital healthcare platform for bladder and bowel care.
