Growth child's play for nursery firm with takeover
A childcare provider has expanded with a takeover.
Grandir UK has bought First Place Nurseries.
Bosses say the move for the Radlett, Bushey and Beaconsfield-based operator “further strengthens Grandir UK’s network of more than 90 day nurseries and pre-schools across the UK”.
The deal was supported by law firm Druces.
Paul Quartly, Grandir UK growth director, said: “Druces’ guidance ensured we could manage a complex transition without losing what makes each nursery special.”
Claire Rigby, partner at City of London-based Druces, added: “This acquisition demonstrates Grandir UK’s vision and commitment to expanding its market position.
“We look forward to continuing our relationship with Grandir UK and working with them in the future.”
