Lichfields announces Newcastle promotions

Planning and development consultancy Lichfields has promoted four members of its Newcastle team as part of 14 promotions across the business.

Alex Kennedy, James Robertson and Emily Thomson have all been promoted to associate director, while Lucy Blakemore has progressed to senior planner.

Alex joined Lichfields in 2019 and has developed his planning career within the Newcastle office, while Emily joined in 2018 and advises clients across the retail, leisure, commercial and infrastructure sectors, with particular expertise in retail impact assessments.

James, who joined in 2022, works with public and private sector clients to assess the economic impacts of development proposals, as well as supporting business case preparation and appraisal.

The promotions reflect Lichfields’ continued investment in developing its people, strengthening the consultancy’s Newcastle team as it supports clients with planning and development projects across the region.
