Executive Recruit appoints senior duo
Specialist search firm Executive Recruit has appointed Karen Chapman as search partner and Peter Bristow as recruitment partner as it expands its life sciences, transformation, data, AI and digital practices.
Karen brings around 25 years’ executive search experience and will lead the firm’s life sciences practice, initially focusing on contract development and manufacturing organisations and contract research organisations.
She will lead searches across areas including research and development, pharmaceutical and biologics manufacturing and health technology.
Karen said: “I've spent my career placing leaders who bring new therapies and manufacturing capabilities to market.
“Returning to life sciences with Executive Recruit means a great deal to me, and I want to help clients find the leadership that moves science forward.”
Peter brings decades of recruitment experience supporting organisations through business change and will lead Executive Recruit's transformation, data, AI and digital practice.
He will work with senior technology, data and transformation leaders, helping clients build leadership teams capable of turning digital and AI investment into commercial results.
Peter added: “The technology rarely decides whether a transformation works, the leadership does. Most programmes stall because the right people aren’t in the right seats.
“I’m delighted to be joining Executive Recruit as it grows, and I’m really looking forward to helping clients build teams that deliver on that investment.”
Their appointments follow a 120 per cent increase in client demand at Executive Recruit over the past two financial years, with the firm now targeting a doubling of headcount across its US and European operations by 2027/28.
Mark Geraghty, partner at Executive Recruit, added: “These appointments come at a crucial moment as we expand our search footprint across the UK and the US.
“Our growth strategy is centered on building a business defined by specialist expertise and deep sector knowledge.
“Karen and Peter will strengthen our capabilities in the Life Sciences sector and enhance our search offering in change and transformation, with a particular emphasis on AI.”
