Property firms unite to broaden options for sellers
A national property auction firm has strengthened its North East network through a new partnership aimed at giving sellers greater choice when taking properties to market.
Bradley Hall Auctions has partnered with Whittaker Property Group, combining its national online auction platform with the North East firm’s residential sales, investment and off-market expertise.
The collaboration forms part of Bradley Hall Auctions’ growing Partner Agent network and will enable Whittaker Property Group to offer auction as an additional route for suitable properties.
Founded by Oliver Whittaker, Whittaker Property Group has completed more than 500 transactions and supported the development of over £33 million worth of property during the past decade.
Initially focused on sourcing and delivering back-to-brick refurbishment projects for investors, the business has since expanded into residential estate agency while retaining its investment specialism.
It operates across Newcastle, Northumberland, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside, Sunderland, County Durham and Consett.
The partnership will be particularly relevant for vendors selling properties requiring refurbishment, vacant and inherited homes and investment assets, where a faster and more transparent auction process may be appropriate.
Clients will now have a choice between traditional private treaty sales, off-market transactions and Bradley Hall’s national auction platform, depending on their circumstances and property.
Oliver said: “Our business has always been about finding the right solution for every client.
“No two properties are the same, and neither are the reasons people choose to sell.
“Partnering with Bradley Hall Auctions gives us another valuable option to offer our clients.
“Whether a property is best suited to the open market, an investor sale or auction, we can provide honest advice and tailor our approach accordingly.
“It’s a partnership built on shared values, local knowledge and a commitment to delivering the best possible results.”
The agreement further expands Bradley Hall Auctions’ Partner Agent programme, which brings together independent estate agents and property professionals across the UK.
Rather than competing with participating agents, the model allows them to retain their client relationships while drawing on Bradley Hall’s specialist auction expertise and national reach.
Helen Wall, managing director of Bradley Hall Auctions, said: “At Bradley Hall Auctions, we’re passionate about working collaboratively with like-minded property professionals who share our commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
“Oliver and his team have built an excellent reputation within the North East property market and bring a wealth of experience in residential sales and investment property.
“By combining our expertise, we’re able to provide vendors with greater flexibility and ensure every property is marketed using the sales method best suited to its circumstances.”
