Aberdein Considine promotes two to partner

Law firm Aberdein Considine has promoted Danny Anderson and Shilpi Jairath to partner, strengthening its senior team in Aberdeen and Newcastle.

Danny moves up from senior associate in the firm's corporate and business advisory team at its Aberdeen headquarters.

He has spent more than a decade with Aberdein Considine, having originally completed his traineeship with the firm.

Ritchie Whyte, partner and head of corporate and business advisory at Aberdein Considine, said: “This is a richly deserved promotion for Danny whose hard work, commitment and ability have earned him an excellent reputation across the North East of Scotland and beyond.

Meanwhile, Shilpi becomes a partner after serving as operations director within the firm’s Lender Services Practice Group and is based principally at its growing Newcastle office.

A contractual recoveries specialist, Shilpi joined Aberdein Considine in late 2025 and brings more than 22 years’ experience across consumer and commercial agreements.

The promotions recognise the pair’s expertise and contribution to the firm as Aberdein Considine continues to develop its teams across its UK operations.
