Fundraising drive delivers £63,000 charity boost

A North East housebuilder has raised more than £63,000 to help disabled people participate in sports and arts activities.

Barratt and David Wilson Homes North East generated £63,958 during a year of fundraising for its 2025/26 Charity of the Year, #AllForJoe.

The charity promotes inclusion and provides financial support to help disabled people access able-bodied sports and arts groups.

Fundraising began in July 2025 and has included Christmas events, a pool inflatables session and a Partners Ball, which alone generated more than £25,000.

The final total also includes matched funding from The Barratt Redrow Foundation, further increasing the support available for #AllForJoe’s work across the region.
