Insulation firm scores Premier League double

A Northern Irish insulation specialist has scored a Premier League double after its technology was used on two stadium developments.

energystore, headquartered in Holywood, County Down, supplied its TLA insulation product for Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium and Fulham’s redeveloped Riverside Stand at Craven Cottage.

At Everton’s new waterfront home at Bramley-Moore Dock, the product was used extensively across the nearly 53,000-capacity stadium, which reportedly cost around £800 million to build.

Its use allowed the amount of screed required to be reduced from 100mm to 50mm, cutting material consumption and lowering carbon impact by an estimated 21kg per square metre compared with the original specification.

The stadium forms a major part of the wider regeneration of Liverpool’s northern docklands.

Meanwhile, energystore TLA 250 was incorporated into Fulham’s new Riverside Stand on the banks of the Thames.

The product was selected to provide high-performance insulation while meeting stringent acoustic and compliance requirements within the complex stadium environment.

The redeveloped stand combines new matchday facilities with premium hospitality and contemporary visitor spaces as Fulham looks to create a riverside destination extending beyond football.
