Shipping firm delivers Coventry expansion

A specialist shipping business has expanded its UK network with a new Coventry service centre supporting companies and individuals sending fragile, unusual and valuable items.

PACK & SEND has opened the site to provide packing and shipping services for local artists, antique dealers and other businesses sending goods across the UK and internationally.

The centre is owned by franchise partner Marta Broniek, who is embarking on a new career after spending ten years in the transport and distribution department at automotive manufacturer Brose Ltd’s Coventry production facilities.

Marta said: “PACK & SEND is world-renowned for specialising in safely managing shipments of all sizes, values and levels of fragility. 

“One day that could be a piece of artwork and the next a large item of machinery. 

“In every case, clients trust us to make sure everything is professionally packaged and transported safely to destinations around the world.

“Specialising in the safe and secure transportation of fragile, valuable and unusual items throughout the UK and internationally makes our service especially useful for the auctions, art and antiques sectors and ecommerce businesses.

PACK & SEND operates locations across the UK, providing postal, freight, courier, packing and removal services with a particular focus on items requiring specialist handling.

Its network has previously packed and shipped artworks by artists including Banksy, Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol and Tracey Emin.

The company is also an approved service provider to LAPADA, the UK association of professional art and antiques dealers.

Other items handled range from manufacturing components and medical equipment to motorcycles, musical instruments and electronics.

Marta added: “We’re also often called upon to help individual members of the public, whether they are moving overseas, sending unusual gifts or even students moving to and from university.

“As the business grows, we’re looking to expand the team and are excited about working with more people and businesses in Coventry and the surrounding areas to help them ship safely worldwide.”
