Aberdein Considine welcomes 11 trainees

Law firm Aberdein Considine has welcomed 11 trainee solicitors across its Scottish offices, marking its largest trainee intake in five years.

The new recruits are based across Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh, working in teams spanning commercial real estate, private client, family law, dispute resolution, corporate and business advisory, banking litigation and conveyancing.

Miranda Agate, Alisha Booth, Blair Gauld, Finlay Smith and Katie Stewart are based in Aberdeen, while Areebah Asif, Ellie Baxter, Aleš Craig, Katrina Douglas and Lana Ferguson have joined teams in Glasgow.

Aoife Dreelan has joined the firm’s dispute resolution team in Edinburgh.

The trainees recently gathered at Aberdein Considine’s Blenheim House headquarters in Aberdeen for a development day covering the firm’s culture, specialist services and future growth and investment plans.

Sessions were delivered by colleagues including managing partner Jacqueline Law, current second-year trainees and a newly qualified solicitor who previously completed the programme.

The latest cohort represents Aberdein Considine’s biggest trainee solicitor intake since 2021 as the firm continues to invest in developing its next generation of legal professionals.
