Audley Clevedon appoints head chef

West Yorkshire luxury retirement village Audley Clevedon has appointed Chris Eastwood as head chef.

Chris joins from The Crown Hotel in Harrogate and brings 31 years of kitchen experience, including 15 years working at head chef level.

His career has included leading the kitchen for the Tour de France finishing line luncheon when the race came to Harrogate for the first time.

In his new role, Chris will develop Audley Clevedon’s dining offering with a focus on vibrant, seasonal menus influenced by his Yorkshire roots.

Chris’ interest in cooking began as a child while spending Saturdays experimenting with recipes and baking at his grandparents’ home.

The new menu will also feature some of his personal favourites, including homemade soups and his signature chocolate brownie.

Audley Clevedon comprises 91 properties within a 23-acre estate at Ben Rhydding, two miles from Ilkley, offering luxury retirement living alongside a range of facilities and services for owners.
