Azets bolsters Burnley leadership team

Accountancy and advisory firm Azets has expanded its Burnley office with the appointment of Sam Marshall as director of accounts and business advisory services.

Sam will focus on supporting owner-managed businesses, working closely with clients to develop long-term relationships and provide accountancy and business advice.

His arrival adds further senior expertise to Azets’ growing Burnley operation, where the accountancy team now numbers 25 people.

Sam said: “The office has a similar client base and covers the same area that I have experience in.

“There is a lot of cross-over with my previous work in the industry and this role gives me an opportunity to build something special.

“Azets has all the expertise necessary to provide clients with everything they need – there is no requirement to seek outside assistance. 

“We do everything under one roof.

“There is a talented and growing team at the Burnley office dedicated to backing clients across East Lancashire.

“My experience has primarily been working with owner-managed businesses across a broad range of sizes and sectors, providing practical accounting, compliance and commercially focused business advice.”

The Burnley office forms part of the firm’s wider North West network, providing businesses with access to expertise across a range of accountancy and advisory services.

Sam’s appointment also supports Azets’ continued investment in its regional teams as it looks to expand the support available to owner-managed businesses across the North West.
