Hill Dickinson expands corporate team

Commercial law firm Hill Dickinson has expanded its national corporate practice with the appointment of Ben Davies as partner in its Liverpool office.

Ben joins from Addleshaw Goddard’s private equity team and brings experience across domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and corporate investment, with a particular focus on private equity transactions.

He advises mid-market private equity sponsors on primary and secondary buyouts, alongside shareholders, management teams and portfolio companies on investment, acquisitions and senior management equity arrangements.

Before joining Addleshaw Goddard in 2022, Ben spent five years in London with global law firms Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Morrison & Foerster.

Ben’s arrival follows the recent appointments of partners Mike O’Halloran and Thomas Mieszkowski to Hill Dickinson’s national corporate team.

The firm’s corporate practice advised on M&A transactions worth almost £2.8 billion last year, with Ben becoming the 16th senior hire to Hill Dickinson’s Business Services Group this year as it continues to invest in expanding its capabilities.
