Lapis Home appoints marketing chief
Telford-headquartered home improvements group Lapis Home has appointed Davy Thomas as chief marketing officer to support its brand strategy and growth plans.
Davy brings more than 20 years of marketing experience, having held senior roles with brands including Accenture, Philips, Unilever and Ruroc.
In his new role, he will work across Lapis Home and its individual businesses to develop and scale their marketing strategies, strengthening the group’s national presence and shared capabilities.
Davy said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Lapis Home at such an exciting stage of its growth journey.
“The group has built an impressive portfolio of brands that are already making a real difference to homeowners across the UK, and there is a significant opportunity to further strengthen their market position.
“My focus will be on building a marketing strategy that not only increases brand awareness and drives growth but also creates lasting relationships with customers.
“By combining strong brand foundations with data-led marketing and exceptional customer experiences, we can establish Lapis Home and its brands as the most trusted names in the UK home improvements sector.”
Lapis Home comprises four UK home improvement businesses – Instaloft, The Storage Nook, GarageFlex and Instaspark – providing services and products designed to improve and make greater use of space in homes.
The group employs more than 160 people across its portfolio and is seeking to build its presence in the UK home improvements market by investing in and scaling its individual brands.
Davy’s arrival adds further senior expertise as Lapis Home looks to combine the local knowledge of its businesses with a wider group-level approach to marketing and growth.
Ben Crouch, group managing director of Lapis Home, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Davy to Lapis Home as our new chief marketing manager.
“Our goal is to make Lapis Home and its brands the most known and trusted names in UK home improvement and turn every customer into a customer for life.
“To achieve this, we need to continue investing in our capabilities and our marketing approach and, having worked alongside Davy before, I am in no doubt he will deliver a framework to really build and scale our marketing strategy.
“Bringing in someone of Davy’s calibre at chief marketing officer level is a big step towards delivering our wider growth strategy and I am genuinely excited to have him on board.”
