Aaron & Partners welcomes eight trainees

Law firm Aaron & Partners has welcomed eight new trainee solicitors across its Chester and Shrewsbury offices as it continues to invest in developing legal talent.

Jessica Jones, Lucy Billington, Mia Reid, Chris Jones, Mia Guerrero and Emma Heath have joined the Chester office, while Abby Spalding and Emily Turnbull are based in Shrewsbury.

They will work across practice areas including real estate, dispute resolution, employment, restructuring and insolvency, and planning, environmental, energy and regulatory law.

Five existing trainees are also progressing into the second year of their training contracts, while Beth Jones, Morgan Fisher and Megan Riffel have qualified as solicitors and taken up permanent roles with the firm.

Beth has joined the family team, Morgan corporate and commercial, and Megan real estate.

The latest intake also sees real estate partner Joe Fletcher-Hunt take over as training principal from Hugh Strickland, partner and head of the Shrewsbury office, after seven years in the role.

Nick Clarke, chief executibe at Aaron & Partners, which currently has 26 colleagues either completing their training contracts or who have qualified through its trainee programme, said: “Developing talented people and giving them opportunities to build long and rewarding careers with us is incredibly important to the firm.
