Housebuilder begins work on £40 million endeavour

A housebuilder has started work on a £40 million development.

Honey has broken ground on the 133-home Melisse estate in Rainworth, near Mansfield.

The Sheffield-headquartered builder says the scheme will feature two to five-bed homes and “help meet strong demand” for new properties.

The first homes are slated for completion next spring. 

Mark Mitchell, Honey chief executive, said: “We are focused on meeting the needs of customers by providing homes which offer the best combination of style, substance and sustainability at their price points.

“Melisse will be another great example of that.”
