Lodestar marks milestone with B Corp certification
A West Midlands accountancy firm has marked its tenth anniversary with B Corp certification following a year-long accreditation process.
Tamworth-based Lodestar Accounting, founded by Chloe Fallon in 2016, supports high-growth, purpose-led businesses looking to scale sustainably.
The certification comes during a year of continued expansion for the firm, which has grown revenue by 20 per cent year-on-year.
Lodestar has also expanded its team to 16, with four new recruits joining during 2026.
Chloe says the milestone reflects the firm’s focus on combining commercial growth with positive social and environmental impact, while supporting challenger brands to expand without compromising their values.
She said: “Achieving B Corp certification has been an incredible journey for us.
“It’s a lengthy process that scrutinises every corner of a business to make sure profit and purpose are in balance and, most importantly, that you’re a brilliant place to work.
“Before we started, we wanted to be sure Lodestar was ready, so we made several sustainable changes along the way.
“B Corp isn’t a badge you win once.
“It’s a commitment you keep, which means we’ll keep improving as we grow.
“We are not your average accountants.
“Our clients are disruptive, high-growth challenger brands with purpose at their core, and we guide them by People, Planet and Profit.
“Our certification means we can share real insight on scaling responsibly with partners who also want to bring real value to the world.”
